How HERE works

From “I’m free” to a real plan in four steps

  1. Set what you’re open to

    Coffee, a walk, coworking, food, drinks, a workout, culture, or just exploring. Tell people nearby what would make today better.

    • Add an optional note, like “Looking for a good coffee and conversation”
    • Stay visible for 15 minutes, 30 minutes or an hour, then your status clears itself
    • Prefer to browse first? Choose “Just looking” and stay private

  2. Discover people nearby

    See people and plans around your approximate area who are open to something similar, on a map or as a list.

    • Filter by coffee, walk, cowork or food
    • Distances are rough, like “500 m away” or “1 km away”, never an exact spot
    • Discovery leads with what people want to do

  3. Connect by mutual choice

    Send an introduction or ask to join a plan. A conversation starts only after you’ve both chosen to connect.

  4. Make a real plan

    Agree on an activity, a time and a place, then go and meet. Keep it simple and easy to take offline.

    • Open plans to anyone nearby, just your connections, or invite only
    • Chat to sort out the details

HERE is not a dating app and not a feed. It’s a simple way to meet people who are nearby and up for the same thing.

No endless swiping

No cards to flick through and no infinite feed. You see who’s around and open to the same kind of plan.

Nobody can message you out of the blue. Direct messaging only opens once you’ve both accepted.

HERE+ is an optional subscription that adds convenience features. You don’t need it to meet people: the free version includes the full core experience.

HERE+ is sold through the App Store and billed to your Apple ID. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID subscription settings. Safety & privacy

You’re in control before anyone sees you

These protections are on by default.

  • Your area, not your exact door

    Discovery uses an approximate area. A precise spot is only shared if you choose one for a confirmed plan.

  • Temporary visibility

    You’re invisible until you set a status, and your status expires on its own.

  • Reviewed profile photos

    New photos are checked before they appear in discovery. Verification features help keep profiles genuine.

  • Block and report, always

    Blocking is immediate and silent. Reports go privately to the moderation team.

  • Your data, your call

    Export your data or delete your account from Settings. HERE doesn’t sell your data.

  • Adults only

    HERE is for people aged 18 and over.

Meeting someone new

Keep the first meeting in a public place like a café, a park or a busy street. Tell a friend where you’re going, and trust your instincts. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Is HERE a dating app?

No. HERE is for meeting real people nearby for everyday plans like coffee, walks, coworking and food. There’s no swiping and no endless feed.

Is HERE free?

Yes. HERE is free to download, and the free version includes discovering people, making plans, connecting and messaging. HERE+ is an optional subscription that adds extra features.

Can other people see my exact location?

No. During discovery people only see an approximate area and distance, never your exact position or address. A precise spot is only shared if you deliberately choose one for a confirmed plan.

Who can message me?

Only people you’ve connected with. Direct messaging opens after both people choose to connect, so there are no random messages.

How old do I need to be?

You must be 18 or older to use HERE.

Which devices does HERE work on?

HERE is available for iPhone on the App Store and requires iOS 15.0 or later.

How do I cancel HERE+?

HERE+ is billed through your Apple ID. Manage or cancel it any time in your Apple ID subscription settings on your iPhone. Cancelling returns you to the free plan at the end of the paid period.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings and choose Delete my account. You can also export your data from Settings › Data & privacy. Deleting the app alone doesn’t delete your account.

How do I contact the HERE team?

Email hello@hereplans.app. For safety concerns about another member, use Report or Block inside the app so the moderation team sees it directly.
